Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist

Adding to the famous family, the Eight Hour Cream wonder product has a new pal – the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist. Having launched in April, the mist offers hydration and soothing benefits. Don’t worry though if you don’t like the smell of the original Eight Hour Cream….

As it is approaching peak travel season, I have been hunting out the best face mists to stay hydrated and cool both in the air and at the beach and I have been obsessed with the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist (£21).

First things first, you’ll notice the smell. The medicinal strong smell of the original cream is nowhere to be found in the mist. A mixed bag on that one – good if you hate it, bad if you love it. I miss the medicinal smell because it was a soothing smell that reminded me of some of my favourite spa treatments!

The spray is a wet pump action and is a very fine and light mist, so you’ll feel it gently landing on your skin but you won’t be wet. That’s important if you want to use this over make up throughout the day to refresh yourself. It won’t soak your skin.

On bare skin, the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist leaves you feeling refreshed, hydrating and soothed.  Packed with a Superfruit blend of Mangosteen, Noni, Acai, Pomegranate and Coffee Seed as well as Aloe Juice, Glycerin and Apple Leaf.

Within the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist , Aloe and Glycerin work with skin occurring ingredients to attract moisture, lock it in and bind it so you stay hydrated and soothed with the Apple Leaf being kind to red and sensitive skin.

Aloe is well known for it’s skincare benefits so it’s a great ingredient to be included within the mist.

This feels like it is doing you good when you apply it. I have been loving using it so much I’ve been layering it up all day long. First thing in the morning to invigorate the skin, on top of moisturiser before make up and then throughout the day when I am getting a bit hot.

On a flight, this is a godsend. You feel perked up and hydrating whilst the light soothing smell can help calm nerves and help you relax in to sleep. Just be careful you don’t mist your seatmate too!

This got me through a very long flight to America so I’ll be sure to use it on the way back to combat the ill effects of air travel.

I picked up my Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Miracle Hydrating Mist at Allbeauty.com which was considerably cheaper than Boots etc. Quidco Cashback is also available on purchase – winner winner!
