Batiste 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner

Batiste 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner

We all have dry shampoo days every now and then, right? It’s great for pepping up a tired style or 2nd day greasy roots but what about us with dry hair to start with? We need a boost so the brainiacs have created Batiste 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner.

The vanilla and passionflower scent of the Batiste 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner is the first thing you notice. Delicate and light it is more reminiscent of perfume than something to keep the grease at bay. It smells a hell of a lot more expensive than it is!

Whilst the Batiste 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner is not as chalky as the original formulas meaning it won’t absorb as much, the spray is invisible. The lightweight invisible product lightly lifts roots and moisturises the ends all at the same time.

Don’t be too heavy handed with the spray as it can leave your roots a bit oily but the ends of your hair will benefit. A light conditioning mist coats dry ends to get them looking sleek and well behaved.

It’s no replacement for either the original dry shampoo or a good conditioner but it delivers an instant boost when you need it.

To be honest, I have been using this to give my clean hair texture and a bit of bounce to get me through the day without drying out my style. It’s a great style refresher for taking that blow dry from office to party.

Offering up to 18hr conditioning is a pretty bold claim but it doesn’t dry your hair like the original dry shampoo formula can. That drying effect can really make already dry hair even worse.

The Batiste 2 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner does not replace your original formula dry shampoo but it sits along side it nicely as a styling aid for dry hair and I’ve been reaching for it every day when styling my hair.

I bought three of these in different scents because I love batiste products usually but these are absolutely abysmal. If you want greasy, dirty looking hair then go ahead and use them but for any sane person who is looking for a dry shampoo to remove oil and grease from the hair then stay well away.

      That’s such a shame
