L’Oreal Pure Clay Mask – Detox + Glow

L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask

Multi masking isn’t a new concept, there has never been anything stopping you applying more than 1 mask to your face for different results. What hasn’t been around before is a high street awareness of the concept which thanks to the new L’Oreal Pure Clay Mask system, is about to change.

I have tried multi masking before but I find most single use sachet masks are terrible at keeping longer than 1 day after opening so I never used to bother as I never planned ahead enough to buy resealable products! I’m a spur of the moment kinda gal.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask Review

L’Oreal have launched 3 new targeted clay based face masks desgined to create your own prescriptive multi masking experience. Purity, Detox + Glow (all £7,99) have been created from pure clay extracts and botanicals to target specific skin care concerns meaning you can wear them in any combination you need to, or just 1 on its own.

As I don’t have oily skin, I skipped the Purity mask which combines clay and Eucalyptus to mattify oily skin and clarifies blocked pores.

Detox contains Charcoal and clay which draws out impurities in the skin. I switch up where I apply this but it is mostly in the T-Zone and along my jaw line where I am prone to hormonal and stress breakouts.

I apply Glow across my cheeks and forehead to perk up that dull sallow skin you can get from too much sun, wind or a week of heavy make up. My skin is super sensitive but this mask hasn’t caused any concern. The Red Algae and mildly coarse texture sluffs away dead skin to bring back my inner glow.

I do get some head shakes from the Husband when I am walking round the house with a red and black patchy face but the results are worth it.

Each L’Oreal Pure Clay Mask smells divine and really high end and the Detox mask feels so cooling and soothing when you are applying it to your face. It feels more like a rich nourishing night cream than a mask! I apply my masks with brushes to get the best control and stop my fingers getting manky between the 2 masks.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask Review

My skin feels so smooth and fresh after I have multi masked with the Pure Clay masks, I am so impressed. Especially for a high street product. You feel like you have had a luxury facial treatment from the comfort of your own home.

I’m wearing both masks as I type this up actually, I am getting holiday ready so I am prepping my skin!
