Travel Photodiary – San Francisco

Golden Gate Bridge San Francisco

I thought a photo post would be a great way to convey the spirit of San Francisco without stuffy reviews. I do however have a couple of restaurant reviews left to write but everyone loves pictures of tasty food right?

When I was trying to sit down and plan out my travel posts after our mammoth road trip in America, I found I had more photos than I could ever come up with words to go with.

San Francisco is a welcoming, inclusive city and it embraces you from the minute you set foot. From the hard hitting business sector to the relaxed vibe of Haight Ashbury, there is something for everyone in San Francisco and this is why we keep coming back. Everywhere you look there’s a great building, modern street art or an interesting character pounding the pavement.

World famous for it’s foggy mornings and sunny afternoons… you can guess what time of day some of these photos were taken at!

We went to San Francisco last September and loved it, I know what you mean about the characters on the streets! Whilst waiting at the tram stop, we had one man burst into song for us, he was actually a really good singer though and it did brighten up people’s mornings!

I love Fisherman’s Wharf with all the sea lions. I’ve got a load of photos left from my holiday too so I should probably get around to just posting them as a photo diary as it does give a good feel for the place 🙂 x

It’s such an incredible place. We went on our honeymoon and for our 10th anniversary so it holds a very special place in our hearts!
