Clarins Multi-Active Jour Day Cream

Clarins Multi-Active Jour Day Cream Review

Do you apply a facial sunscreen all year round or are you just a holiday kinda SPF gal? I used to be the latter but thanks to more awareness being made of daily moisturisers with SPF that aren’t uncomfortable to wear, I have been a convert.

The Clarins Multi-Active Jour day cream has broad spectrum SPF20 and applies like a dream.

The full size 50ml pot retails at £42 which is pricey, yes, but I have been relying on my travel sizes for my adventures so far this summer and I couldn’t be happier.

It applies smoothly with a light scent that doesn’t linger on the skin, whilst the product doesn’t settle in to fine lines. It is designed to target them and diminish them. To be honest, I haven’t really noticed much difference as I don’t really have many! It does inject a daily dose of radiance though, which is something we could all use!

Clarins Multi-Active Jour Day Cream Review

The day cream is light weight and whilst you can feel it delivering a much needed burst of hydration, doesn’t feel heavy or cloying which is perfect for summer. The day cream sits well under make up and doesn’t create any unsightly flash back in flash photography which is also a bonus for holiday time!

On days when my skin has felt tight from the sun and wind, this has felt soothing and calming enough to alleviate that.

If you plan on travelling or are on the go a lot, I really recommend trying to get this in the travel sizes as the 50ml pot is a little bulky. I picked this up in Sephora but I’m sure you’ll be able to find it in the UK, or even ask for a sample size at the Clarins counter.

I am definitely converted to day creams with SPF now I have found lightweight ones. I wonder which one I will try next!

I always make sure I use SPF in my moisturiser. So important!
