I quite often buy make up from Supermarkets as I find it easy to remember to stock up on brand essentials while I’m pushing my trolley round. I also like that my red lipstick obsession helps rack up my clubcard points but we’ll not tell the husband about that one ok?
The BD Trade Secrets line is a Tesco own brand mainstay. Reliable quality and great value for money, I know I will always find what I need.
The Flawless Primer (£9.99)* contains Marigold and Borage for moisturising properties and micro illuminating particles that brighten your skin without looking glitzy. It looks more like a foundation in the pot but it applies well to skin leaving a smooth, even, velvety soft finish. It isn’t as full of silicone as others so it isn’t as slippery but foundation applies perfectly.
I haven’t noticed any difference in the longevity of my foundation but that’s not why I use Flawless Primer. The almost airbrushed finish is what I love. On dewy foundations or matte, it stops the skin looking dry.
For a primer you can pick up with your weekly shop, I can’t recommend this highly enough.
